The dress is our modern take on the classic pillowcase dress. Each is handmade by us with care and customized for your little girl. You help to choose the fabric, ribbons and monogram styles. Many of our Rarebits designs are reversible - so she will get two dresses in one. And pairing them with a long sleeve tee or turtleneck and tights makes them quite versatile in any season or climate. She will light up any party in our frocks, but she will also be comfortable enough to sprint around the playground.
The ribbons make each dress adjustable, so that your growing girl will get several seasons of use. Loosen the ribbons and the dress extends in length. She can even wear it as a tunic over leggings as she grows. This is truly an heirloom that will live in her wardrobe for a long, long time; a classic that will never go out of style. Perhaps someday the dress will experience another life as a pillow for her college dorm or as a handkerchief for her wedding day. In fact, with every dress, we enclose instructions on how to turn the garment into a beautiful pillow. It's the gift that keeps giving. Oh, and one last little treat. The word “Believe” is embroidered somewhere on each and every dress. A little hidden treasure to be discovered. After all, we all need something to believe in! Our sizes start at 12 months and go up to 6X. Hand-made in the USA. Care instructions for most dresses: Wash cold and tumble dry on lowest setting. Press with a cool iron, if needed. Ribbons are specially treated so that they will not fray, and they wash beautifully. |
